昨年11月に3枚目のアルバム、"Hot Mess（ホット・メス）"をひっさげ、初の単独公演となったCobra Starship（コブラ・スターシップ）。また、昨年のフジロックでは、最終日のグリーンステージで、勢いのあるとても楽しいステージを披露してくれました。 開演時間の30分ほど前に会場に着いたのですが、フロア内に入ってビックリしたのは、圧倒的に女性のオーディエンスが多いという事でした。8割方そうだったと思うのと、最前列はすべて女性でした。 彼等のライヴの魅力は、ヴォーカルであるゲイブのパフォーマンスだと思います。マイクをぐるぐる回したり、マイクスタンドをなげたり、そして勢いのあるジャンプだったり、腰を振ったり、言い出すとキリがないほどアグレッシヴかつセクシーなパフォーマンを披露してくれます。また唯一の女性メンバーである、ヴィクトリアを中心に、他のメンバーとの絡みも楽しめます。 今回のライヴもそんな彼等の魅力がすべてつまっていて、本編12曲、アンコール2曲で、約1時間30分のライヴもあっという間に終わりました。ライヴ途中では両手を使った、コブラサインの決めポーズをオーディエンスと共に。ライヴ終演後にはチケットを持ってる人すべての希望者と握手会もあったりと、ファンにとっては最高に楽しめた内容だったのではないでしょうか。 また来日する事があれば、ぜひ行きたいと思います。しかし不思議なのは、男性ファンがもっといててもいいと思うのですけどね。 |
