昨年11月、デビュー15周年を記念して、1stアルバムの『Earth vs The Wildhearts』とB-Sideの曲を中心に演奏するという、昔からのファンだけではなく、最近彼等を好きになった人達にとってもたまらない最高のライブが、東京の赤坂ブリッツにて行われました。その興奮が冷めぬまま、今回は新作『Chutzpah』をひっさげて来日公演となった「The Wildhearts（ザ・ワイルドハーツ）」。 開演時間は少し遅めのスタートで19時30分。開場後30分ほどはそんなにうまってなかった会場内も、開演間際にはぎっしりのオーディエンス。30から40代の方が比較的に多くみえたのですが、やはりギター・ヴォーカルのジンジャーは今も昔もスーパースター。 ライヴ内容は2部構成となっており、1部は新作の『Chutzpah』から10曲ほど演奏。2部は過去の曲を10数曲演奏。演奏時間は2時間強でした。 2部では人気曲が多く熱気が一気に上がったように感じました。最後は昨年のライヴと同じく、大人気ナンバー「「I Wanna Go Where the People Go」で幕を閉めています。 |
