４年振りの来日となったエイミーマンの単独公演。アコースティックギターを優しく奏でながら、しなやかに歌うエイミーの声は子守唄を聴かせる母親のようで、とても穏やかで夢心地な気分にさせてくれる。 前回の来日の時はバンド形式で、今回はトリオのアコースティック形式。曲ごとに楽器を変えて演奏するスタイルと緩いMCが作る空間が静寂の中に熱く響き、まるで家のソファーに座って映画を観ているようなリラックスした感覚の中でステージの上の三人に吸い込まれていく。 昨年リリースした『スマイラーズ』からはもちろん、映画、『マグノリア』のサウンドトラックからの名曲、"Wise UP(ワイズ・アップ)"や"Save Me(セイヴ・ミー)"も聴かせてくれて、「練習したのよ〜」と可愛く言いながらイントロの縦笛を吹き始めた"This is How It Goes(ディス・イズ・ハウ・イット・ゴーズ)"など、今までのライブではあまりやらないような曲も今回は演奏してくれた。 終演後、秋の気配が漂う夜の空に星がキラキラと輝いていて、何年経っても色褪せない曲の素晴らしさもこうしてずっと輝いていくのだと感じた。 |
