今年7月に「Chokesleeper（チョークスリーパー）」とのスプリット・アルバム、『Cross Island（クロス・アイスランド）』をリリースしたのが、大阪を中心に全国で活動している「Sunset Bus（サンセット・バス）」。そのリリース・ツアーを行ってる彼等ですが、今回は大阪公演からのレポートになります。また、いつもsamが撮影している「G-Freak Factory（Gフリーク・ファクトリー）」のレポートも同時にお届けします。 この日の出演バンドは全5組で、サンセット・バスは5番目のトリで登場。以前レポートした時にも少し書きましたが、彼等のライヴは、お酒を飲みながらまったり見ると非常に心地が良いレゲイ・ナンバーもあれば、自然に踊りたくなるようなスカ・ナンバーもあり、またパンク・ナンバーもありと、とにかく楽しい事なら何でもというような感じで、毎回楽しませてくれます。今回のライヴでは、7月にリリースされたスプリット・アルバムの中からはもちろん演奏。アンコールも含め演奏時間は40分ほどだったと思いますが、楽しい時はあっという間に終わり、幕を閉じました。 このツアーですが、残りは今月12日の名古屋ザイオン、19日は東京渋谷のクラブ・キノトで終了となります。10月17日は彼等の企画ライヴ・イベント「Bus Trip（バス・トリップ）」の第6回目が、大阪江坂のミューズで開催されます。このイベントには、今や大人気となりました「Rock'A'Trench（ロッカトレンチ）」も出演した事があります。 【Cross Island】Release Tour 8/21（金）@ 福岡 Graf 8/22（土）@ 大阪 King Cobra 9/12（土）@ 名古屋 Zion 9/19（土）@ 渋谷 乙 -Kinoto- 【Bus Trip Vol.6】Sunset Bus Presents 10/17（土）@ 江坂 Muse |
