今回の来日は、クリスチャン・ヴァンデ(ds/vo)、ステラ(vo)、イザベル(vo)、ジェームス(g)、フィリップ(b)に加え、新加入のアキニン(vo)、ルイーダ(key)と、さらにヴィブラフォン奏者のベネットを加えた８人編成。マグマを見るのはもちろん初めてで、プログレッシヴというカテゴリーも私自身なじみが薄い。しかしマグマの音の深さとオペラに近い歌声や世界観にどっぷりと飲み込まれてしまった。 アンコールは「コパイア」。今年でデビュー40周年を迎えて、会場からは「おめでとう」（Congratulations)(Fe´licitations）などの英語やフランス語での祝福の言葉を観客から贈られていた。マグマとしての原点の楽曲を演奏。コバイア語（ヴァンデが創作した言語）と言って、フランス語とドイツ語を混ぜ込んだ様な響きを持ち合わせてた。 御年61歳のヴァンデの尽きることの無い創作意欲に、脱帽した大阪でのライブだった。 |
