--> 54-71 ゲストに54-71を迎えた、ドン・キャバレロの来日公演。あえてタイトルを付けるとしたら、「日米コワモテ変拍子対決」だろうか。いや、しかし、54-71のボーカリストはラメラメ・スケスケのトップス＋キュロットスカートにブーツという出で立ちのせいか、たとえ鼻水が垂れ放題でも微笑む度にうっかり可愛らしく見えてしまうし、ドン・キャバレロのドラマーは、出てくるなりデジカメで観客を撮影し、ドラムセット前にぬいぐるみ2体を置くわで、こちらも負けじと可愛らしさ全開なのである。曲間にはいちいち丁寧なMCを挟んでるし、コワモテだけど意外にいい人たちなのかも？ 演奏はもっと緻密なのかと思っていたら、CDに比べて思いのほかラフというかこなれた風情で、ストイックな演奏がクールな54-71と好対照であった。機会があったら、是非もう一度観てみたい組み合わせである。
