ツアー最終日となった東京公演はほぼ満杯で、約10分押しのスタート。前回のアコースティック・ライヴは体験できなくて、今回が初めてのアシャ体験となる。アルバムで聴くよりも遙かにソウルフル。グイグイとオーディエンスを引っ張っていくようにライヴが進行するんだが、ステージに姿を見せたアシャの存在感に圧倒されると言ったところか。オーディエンスは、すでにアシャのアルバムを熟知しているんだろう、自然に彼らの歌声が彼女の声に重なっていくあたり、素晴らしいメロディ・メイカーこそがなせる技なんだとその才能を再確認することになる。
photos by hanasan前回のアコースティックでの来日公演の模様はiTunesで購入することができるんだが、このバンド編成によるライヴも、同じく、iTunesで発表されることになっているとか。ライヴが始まる前に伝えられたんだが、それに加えて、フランスではDVD付きのライヴ・アルバムも発表されるらしい。どうやら、このライヴ・アルバム、日本での発売の可能性は薄そうなんだが、アシャはライヴでこそその魅力を発揮できるのではないかと思える。それほどジ〜ンと来て、余韻を残してくれたのがこの日のライヴ。これまでもずっと彼女のアルバムを聴いてきたんだが、これからもしばらくはアシャ漬けになるんだろうなぁ。 |
