去年からずっとツアーが続いているデンマーク出身のザ・キスアウェイ・トレイル。今回のUK日程はロンドンとマンチェスターのみではあったが、この日はつい先週のコペンハーゲン日程のヴェニューとほぼ同じキャパのところ。彼らの本国首都とロンドンでの人気が確実にほぼ一緒ほどになってしまったということであろうか。
この日はアルバム曲の『Tracy』のイントロ部分で歓声が上がった。この曲はシングルで発売されているわけではないのだが、とても人気がある模様。そしてやはり一番人気のあるシングル曲、『Smother + Evil = Hurt』はアンコール中最後に演奏。ここでもやはりイントロ部分で歓声が上がった。 これで3回彼らのライブを見た自分ではあったが、この日が一番盛り上がっていた。前回見た2回とは比べ物にならないくらいに観客がのっていた。これだけ精力的にツアーを続け、確実にファンを集めてはいても、去年はスコットランドのコネクト・フェスティバルとデンマークのロスキルド以外は大きな夏季フェスティバルには出演していなかった記憶がある。今年の予定はどうなのかちょっと気になるところである。 comment and photos by emi |
