ゴールデンウィーク最終日は生憎の雨。けれどそんな雨も味方にしてしまうのがソイル・アンド・ピンプ・セッションズだ。開演早々アジテーターの社長が「雨も舞台装置だ！」の一言で会場は一気にスイッチオン！DEATH JAZZといわれる独特の激しい曲に踊り狂い、雨が良く似合うしっとりとした曲には涙している人も数人みられた。 ライブ中盤ではゲストボーカルで盟友の椎名順平も登場し、甘い歌声で会場にやわらかな空気を充満させていた。 雨もほぼ止み、終盤になっても勢いはとどまらずアンコールに突入し、定番曲「殺戮のテーマ」が演奏される。この曲はオーディエンスの「ソイル！ソイル！！ソイル！！！」というソイルコールが曲の一部になり一番の盛り上がりどころだ。雨の日比谷野外音楽堂に集まった3000人という数のオーディエンスの声は日比谷公園内だけに納まらず千代田区全体に広がっていったのではないだろうか。 photos by yusuke |
