ザ・キスアウェイ・トレイルはデンマーク出身の新人バンド。今年のSXSWに出演した際に、取材に来ていたとあるUKウェブメディアが大絶賛。そしてそれに続くように今回初の渡英にて各大手メディアからも大絶賛を得て、海外のバンドとしてはかなり好調なUK上陸を果たした。
この日のライブは西ロンドンにある小規模ヴェニュー、93 Feet Eastが定期的に企画している無料ライブ、及び庭でバーベキューというイベントの一環だった。地元デンマークでもまだあまり経歴が長く無い上に、UKではまったくもっての新人バンドというのにも関わらず、さすがに各メディアから絶賛を受けているだけあってかなり観客の入りが良い。ドラマーを除いて全員が参加する重なるヴォーカルがアンセム的な高揚感を持たせるところがとても印象的。演奏は結構激しいのだけれど、どこか繊細で美しいメロディーも特徴。 このあとUK内では各種フェスティバルに出演予定あり。まだまだ彼らのUK攻撃は続きます。 comment and photos by emi |
