デルタソニックとのレコード契約が終了となってしまったザ・ロングカット。現在彼らは契約無しの状態。勢いが衰えるかと心配するまもなく、マンチェスターのインディーレーベルであるMelodicから
ダブルA面の7インチを発売することに決定（3月19日発売）。3月半ばから始まるツアーも発表。そしてこの日のライブもBBCの人気DJであるスティーヴ・ラマックによって突然決定となった。
この日のライブが発表になったのはライブの日のわずか2週間前だったのと、大々的に宣伝されていなかったり、大手のチケットショップでチケットが売られてなかったりなどもあったりなどのせいなのか、観客の人数は思ったよりも少なかったのがすごく残念。それでも来ていた人たちはコアなファンばかりだった様子。人数はいつもに比べたら少なめとは言えども破格に盛り上がった。今度のシングルに入る『You Got The Love』は誰もが知ってる有名なダンスナンバーをカバーしたもの。今までのツアーでも時々演奏していて人気だった曲が今度はシングルで出るってことで、この曲が始まると大歓声が上がる。最前列なんてめちゃくちゃに踊りまくってた。 つい数日前に3月6日のプラシーボのロンドン日程でサポートが突然決定となったりと、驚くほどに次々とニュースが上がる。次のレーベルはまだ未決定状態だけど、決まるのはもうすぐなんじゃないだろうか。 --> The Early Years
