色んなバンドで活躍中の若いメンバーでのバンド編成で登場した町田康。 言葉の鋭さや威力にバンドの作り出す音の勢いとスケールが相乗効果となって、INU時代の「メシ喰うな」や「インロウタキン」「フェイドアウト」が今なお、より一層のパンクとして鋭く刺さってきたし、即興的な音楽をバックに朗読する「なんか暗いのう」には、心を震わされた。 痛烈な言葉と、そこはかとなく温かみのある言葉が絶妙なバランスで放たれる。恐ろしいことに、どんなに若い子達がパンクと称してバンドをやっても、この歌詩の強烈さでは、町田康の方が若く見えてしまうであろう位のパンクっぷりだ。どんな時であろうとパンクの姿勢を持ち続けているその凄みと、日本語ならではの妙が際立っている。 パンクって過去のものではなくて、常に今という時のものなんではないかと気付かされる。そんなライブだった。 -->Notalin's comment and photos by saya38 |
