コトリとも音を出してはいけないような静寂のなかで、押さえ気味のギターにのって、榎本くるみの澄んだ声がロフトに響く。カメラのシャッターを押す音さえもが全てをぶちこわしにするようななかで写真を撮るのはつらい。というか、撮れなかった。それは、ライヴこそが主役であるべきだという原則ばかりが理由ではなく、あまりにまっすぐな歌と彼女の声の力に圧倒されたという方が正しいのかもしれない。 - setlist - 1. You Have Always 2. one of them 3. 心のカタチ |

どこか懐かしくフォーキィな感触を与えてくれたのが野狐禅 (やこぜん)だった。新宿ロフトが生まれた時には、まだ産声を上げてはなかったという若い二人。が、彼らの歌から聞こえてきたのは、あの時代にも存在した歌だった。どこかで筆者が好きだった友部正人のような流れにあるんだろうか、自由奔放に放たれる言葉の向こうからは、この二人の軌跡が見えたような気がした。 おそらく、会場にやってきた人たちのお目当てはカルメン・マキやパンタだっただろう。この二人が生まれた頃に思春期を迎えていた人たちも多かったはずだ。が、そういった人たちさえもが彼らの言葉と歌に引き込まれていく。どうやら、この日の30周年記念は「歌」がキー。あふれ出る言葉に「歌う」という行為で、言葉を遙かに越えた「歌」に命を与えていく。それは「僕らの歌」が生まれた時代からなにも変わってはいない。 - setlist - 1. ひび割れた日々 2. ならば、友よ 3. じゅうじか 4. 東京紅葉 5. 自殺志願者が線路に飛び込むスピード 6. ぐるぐる -->Carmen Maki comment and photos by hanasan |
