FUJIROCKで初めて G.Love & the Special Sauce を観たときは、こう言っちゃなんだが、かなり垢抜けない感じのしたギャレット。しかし、今回はまったく違った。
早いものでデビューから10年が過ぎ、バンドとしても、人としても成長した証は新作を聴けばわかるだろう。歳は重ねているのに、いつになく若々しくフレッシュなパフォーマンスに心がくすぐられた。日本語をおり交ぜたラップでサービス精神もみせてくれた G.Love だが、特別なソースがなくても十分に満足できる、そしてあとをひくご馳走を平らげた一夜だった。 photo by mari |
