*髭楽団がステージ登場前に使っているのが... 実は、日本のジャズ・ミュージシャンの草分け的な存在、（じゃなくて、ほとんど人はただコメディアンだと思っているはずだけど）フランキー堺の名作アルバム『この素晴らしい世界』に収録されているクラシックなジャズの名曲『シング・シング・シング』。オリジナルはLouis Primaというジャズ・シンガーなんだが、スイング時代のジャズでよく取り上げられた曲だ。おそらく、フランキー堺がカバーのベースとしているのは、映画『ベニー・グッドマン物語』や『ベグラン・ミラー物語』でも顔を見せていた超ファンキーなドラマー、Gene Krupaあたりを念頭に置いていると思うんだが、とんでもなく愛のこもった日本語の歌が最高！ヴォーカリストとして、ドラマーとして、「俺にアルバムを作らせるんだったら、好き勝手にさせるか、札束で両びんただ」といって、当然のように前者ののりで生まれた作品。最近脚光を浴びてきた勝手にしやがれにも通じると思うんだけど、どうでしょ？ |
