| 90分ほどの本編を終えて、アンコールというより『第二部』といった趣向の、BEN HARPERが一人で弾き語るアコースティ?・セット。一転、しんと静まりかえった場内に、繊細で、優しく、透き通るような歌声が、染みるように包みこむように響き渡る。それはあまりにも優しすぎて、理由もわからないのに嫉妬してしまうほど、胸の奥に潜む無垢なものをなんだか揺さぶられる。 |

5曲を1人（とギター1本）で歌い終わり、一度袖に引っ込んでから改めてメンバーとともに登場してのアンコールは"With My Own Two Hands"。タイトだけれどゆったりとしたレゲエのリズムに、「I beleave a better world」と場内とのコール&レスポンス、そして圧巻だったのは、徐々に徐々に盛り上がっていくアーシーで混沌としたインプロヴィゼーション。もう体も意識せず、音の波間をゆらゆらと漂うような時間が過ぎていく。 確かにこれは、罪のない犯罪だ。それ以上に罪深いものはないのだから。 |
