You may hear John Coltrane or Pharoah Sanders or Roland Kirk from Masayan and hot Bill Evans or cool McCoy Tyner from Hajime, but so what? To me, the most important thing of this unit is, without twisted around with those trendy words like drum'n'bass or big beat or whatever, digesting all of those shit, still they are playing jhot'n'cool jazz of real musicians. You may dance or head bang to their music or have a journey flown by the stream of improvisation, what they play is "free'n'real" jazz. If you get a chance, don't miss 'em.
