| このイヴェントが開かれたのは、その12年前、連合国軍がイラクの空爆を始めた時期と重なる。あの時もそうだった。「正義」の名の下に、どれほど多くの人たちが殺されていったのか...「間違って爆弾を落として」どれほど多くの民間人が殺されたか... 権力者たちは、どちらの側であっても、のうのうと生きて、被害を受けることもない。本当は、最も貧しく、金も力もない、それでも底辺で地球を動かしている人たちが最も大きな被害を受けているのだ。 結局、あれから、何年にも渡って幾度となくイラクが空爆され、劣化ウラン弾を落とされていたか、メディアはいっこうに伝えることはなかったし、誰も相手にすることもなかった。そのおかげで多くの奇形児が生まれ、放射能汚染に苦しんでいる人がいても、誰も気にとめないでいる。 |

そして、アフガニスタンがあった。テロリストを「殺す」ために、罪もない弱者の、虫けらのような人々が「誤爆」で殺されても「ごめんなさい」だけで許される状況があるということに誰も疑問を持たないんだろうか。しかも、テロリストを生んだのはなにだったのかに対して、疑問も持つことなく、力だけの「正義」がまかり通る。結局、あれで本当にアフガニスタンの人々が救われたんだろうかという疑問は消えることはない。 |
| あの戦争にどれほどの金が使われたのか... クルーズ・ミサイルが1発で約1000万円という噂を聞いたことはある。けど、あまりの桁の大きさに、一般庶民にはその総額は想像もつかない。元々そんな金がばらまかれていたら、アフガニスタンの人々はあんな状況に直面していなかっただろうに、これで再び「憎しみ」が増殖したことになる。テロはテロを生み、憎悪は憎悪を生み出していく。 |
