日本でも公開されているジュリアン・テンプル監督のドキュメンタリー映画、『グラストンバリー・ザ・フィルム』(US import)で、最も衝撃を受けたのがこのバンド、ティナリウェンだった。偏見や先入観どころか、存在さえ知らなかったこのバンドが脳裏に強力に焼き付いていたのが彼らを撮影した理由。
