つい最近までMumm-Ra（マムラ）のツアーでサポートをしていたリップコードはイングランドのウォルヴァーハンプトン出身。ものすごい勢いで人気上昇している、いわば期待の新人なのだ。暴れるにはもってこいのリズムとキャッチーなメロディー。一度聴いたら覚えてしまう。そして1曲が2分ほどと、パンクの匂いさえ感じさせるものも持っている。
デビューしたばかりとはいえ、これだけ人気の上がっているバンドだとやはり入り口には列ができている。海辺には小規模なクラブが数件並んでいるが、その中でも大きめなクラブでの演奏だった。ドアが開いて、もちろんすぐに最前列は埋まるどころかフルキャパまで埋まってしまった。これだけ人気急上昇してるだけあって、バンド側も自信に溢れるパフォーマンス。しかし、まだ早い時間だったので酒の回っていない観客達は思ったよりもおとなしかった。 しかし、ヴェニュー側のセキュリティー上の問題で、撮影に規制がかかったために端っこの方から5分間しか撮影できず．．． comment and photos by emi |
