ポラールクライス・アクトツェーンはドイツ出身。バンド名はドイツ語で「北極圏18度」という意味だとか。
実は彼らが目的でこのヴェニューへ入ったのではないのだが、時間割が大幅に遅れていたらしく、最後の2〜3曲を見ることになった。 キャパが200人くらいのヴェニューの中には多く見ても30人くらいの観客しかいなかったのだが、楽しんでいるのが一目瞭然。それよりも、「誰だかわからない新人バンドだけどなんだかすごく良い」という空気があった。 彼らの曲はエレクトロ、ダンス、インディー・ギター・ポップが混ざった感じ。すっきりとした都会的な音。それでいて結構感情的なヴォーカルが入る。 私的にはとても気に入ったのだが、もうちょっと見ていたいって思ったところで終了。実際は時間が大幅に遅れていたのでヴェニュー側からバンドへストップがかかってしまい、かなり中途半端なところで強制終了となってしまった。観客も「あぁぁ．．．」とがっかりの声を漏らしていた。UKではまだリリースの無い彼らなんで、彼らのライブは次はいつ見れるんだかわからないのがすごく残念。 comment and photos by emi |
