このパブ・ヴェニューでは、元々違うバンドを見る予定だった。ところがそこに到着するまでそのバンドがキャンセルされていたのに気がつかず。ステージセッティングを見ていてどうも違うと思ったのでローディーに聞いてみたのだが、そこでキャンセルに気がつく。ローディーに次に出演するバンド名だけ聞いて、とりあえず見ることにした。
ステージに上がったバンドはフォーチューン・ドライブ。イングランドはブリストル出身。パワーロックなバンドで、めちゃくちゃ力強い音楽。ドラマーがすごい。ものすごい叩き方をするので、バスドラのマイクが振動で動いてしまう。ほぼ3分ごとにローディーがステージに上がってマイクを調整していた。ヴォーカリストはさらっとクールに歌ってしまうのだが、とにかくパワーが溢れる。急に出演が決定したらしく、プログラムには紹介されていないのだが、彼らのファンはちゃんと聞きつけてやってきた。多分普段のライブだったら破格に暴れるんであろう。でもこの日はパブの中でのライブだったので、かなり抑えている感じではあった。 -->iLiKETRAiNS comment and photos by emi |
