海岸沿いの道路下の部分を利用して沢山の小規模なバーやクラブが並んでいる。まさに海岸に面していて、場所的には最高（多分嵐の日には閉店となってしまうのだろうけど）。キュービチェック！はそのうちのひとつ、ザ・ザップというクラブに登場だったのだけれど、始まる前はドアの前に長蛇の列が出来ていた。そのまま列はどんどん波打ち際へと続く。それでも何とか全員入場できたらしく、ヴェニュー内はぎっしり。
ステージ前に5人観客並べばそれで最前列はいっぱいになるほど狭いステージ。ステージ上の彼らも真正面向いてギターを持てば隣とぶつかるほど。おかげであまり激しく動き回れなかった感じもあったけれど。観客も比較的おとなしめではあったけれど、Nightjoy（ナイトジョイ）が演奏されると歓声が上がって踊り出す人もいた。ヴェニュー内はかなり熱気がこもった状態だったので汗びっしょりに。 彼らがこのフェスティバルで最初に見たバンドだったのだけれど、好調なスタートを切るのに最高のバンドだと自分的に大満足。 comment and photos by emi |
