Los Rancherosの裏では、DJフロアでbattle of ninjamanzのMUTSUMI氏やCOBRA氏がスピンしていたり、あるいはZOOT16 × SLY MONGOOSEの裏でmuletrainのDOCAさんが回していたり。スカ以外にもアイリッシュありオールディーズあり、ジャズもファンクもパンクもサイコビリーもあり。そんな不良音楽ゴチャ混ぜイベントとなった“Down Beat Ruler”は、今年20周年を迎えるthe Ska-Flamesの交友範囲の広さが、いやがおうにも窺い知れるものだった。 |
