Smashing Mag (Chief Editor: Koichi Hanafusa) is pleased to announce that it is holding its first photo exhibition. Smashing Mag is an independent online magazine that transmits various kind of information, with a strong emphasis placed on music. Now, approximately 50 regular contributors from across the country cover gigs, festivals, etc. in Japan. In recent years the site has strived to become more internationally recognized by reporting on renowned events such as the SXSW Music Festival in the United States and the Street Beat Festival in Italy. Most of the contributors also work for "live update" media such as Fuji Rock Express and Rising Sun Express, which get hundreds of thousands of hits per day. Smashing Mag derives from the goal, 'Smash the Conventional Media' and 'Create a Smashing Media'. This time, we will show you the best photos from some of our best photographers.
