A swift kick in head can always do some good for anyone, no matter what state of mind you reside in. This is why the urgent vitality of Tokyo's FC FIVE is picking up followers by the boatloads alongside the road of redemption and pure determined inspiration. Making the old school guard proud, FC FIVE wholly gives further proof of their growing strength amongst the international HC community with recent blistering appearances alongside Hatebreed, Napalm Death and Bleeding Through, with so much more to come.
An outfit clearly on the cusp of a huge breakthrough, do not be surprised to see them Warped, Downloaded or elsewhere as these four have their sights set on finding their music blaring at gigs, parties and skate events both local and worldwide. Consider it done with the sheer strength of their debut "Come To The End."
Not holding back, in their completely unbridled hardcore fashion, FC FIVE collectively dive headfirst into their 11-track maelstrom of emboldened resilience. With communal shouting about, "My Strife" kicks off this call to action that ceases to relent and seamlessly unfurls into the furious circle-pit love affair of "Strange Days." Yes, nothing like The Doors classic ditty, but needless to say, these four are leaving here to stay. The full-on positive fury shared between the afro-styled Tomy (vocals), Hiroto (bass), Kosuke (bass) and anchored by Kimura (drums) in dispensing their call to arms as they further tear into your interiors positively with the crunching "Jaded Hope" that keeps the pit going strong as stop-start racing of "Bloody Nightmare." The pounding "The Man Who Killed The World" shows that these fantastic four have many sides to show. Perhaps the lasting resonance of FC FIVE'S debut is set in stone with finale in "Come To The End" that both that chugs and swirls about in its rage to a full fruition. The truth is out there and FC FIVE are definitely to be included.
